Test Procedure: Our engineers inspected each printhead before, during, and after the testing cycle.
Before: Before each test a new printhead was installed on each printer, photographed at 100X, and then produced a three dimensional (topographical) measurement of the new printhead.
During: Our engineers printed 2000 meters of ribbon using a 0%, 50%, and 100% test label. After 2000 meters, the printhead was photographed at 100X and analyzed.
After: The tested printhead was then cleaned, using IPA, photographed and a three dimensional (topographical) measurement was taken. The printhead was then set aside for further evaluation. This test was performed, in total, 16 times.
