Concord, NC. - February 23, 2004 - DNP IMS America Corporation (DNP), a manufacturer of thermal transfer ribbons for barcode, facsimile and dye sublimation printers, is pleased to announce the launch of a new loyalty program entitled D2D (Dedicated To DNP). This program is designed to reward VARs who are dedicated to promoting and using DNP's high performance line of thermal transfer ribbons.
"Loyalty programs are not new to our target audience," comments Vice President of Sales and Marketing, Brett Cameron. "However, DNP's D2D program promises to set a new standard in how manufacturers reward their loyal customer base. Our number one goal is to add value to all DNP customers-not just the top 2%, by providing products and services that facilitate the business and profits of our partners."
D2D is designed to offer something for everyone; from a large corporate distributor to a locally owned systems integrator, all users have access to D2D's rewards and benefits. "We conducted extensive interviews and research studies focused on our target audience: value added resellers," explains Emily Donovan, Senior Marketing Coordinator. "Based on our findings, we crafted a loyalty program that is completely 'VAR-centric.'"
D2D began with the launch of DNP's new password protected website, www.dedicatedtodnp.com. This website offers three primary sections, Brand Central, Tools & Resources, and Promotional Outlet. Under Brand Central, users can download generic product literature and direct mailers about DNP's thermal transfer ribbons. There is also an option to "Create Your Own Material" where users can customize DNP mailers and literature for their own private use. The Tools & Resources section is packed full of competitive technical information about DNP's products, including an expanded version of the popular OEM Printer Guide. Finally, the Promotional Outlet allows users access to special pricing on overstocked inventory, as well as, participation in monthly promotions designed to build customer loyalty.
