DNP & Paxar Partner To Support NY-based Charity

Concord, NC. – November 12, 2002 – The Dai Nippon Printing Group (DNP) congratulates Debbie Shakespeare, of Paxar Corporation, and The Children's Village, of Dobbs Ferry, NY, for winning DNP's grand prize give away at this year's Label Expo Americas 2002.

On behalf of Paxar Corporation, The Children's Village will accept the Canon CP-100 dye sublimation printer and Canon A40 digital camera. A gift valued at close to $500.00. DNP is very proud to partner with Paxar to support this New York State based charity.

The Children's Village is a private, not-for-profit, corporation providing support and aid for under privileged children and their families. Paxar Corporation has been donating money and durable goods to this local charity for many years.

2. JUNE 2002 - DNP hires former IIMAK and Fuji - Copian engineer.

Concord, NC. - June 27, 2002 - The Dai Nippon Printing Group (DNP) is pleased to announce a new addition to its Quality department. Mr. Tu Bui, a former quality manager for both IIMAK and Fuji-Copian, will become DNP's new Quality Assurance/ Process Engineering Manager. Mr. Bui has over 15 years experience in the thermal transfer ribbon (TTR) manufacturing environment by leading both IIMAK and Fuji-Copian in the initial developments of both their TTR technologies and facilities.

"We are very excited to have Mr. Bui a part of our Quality Assurance department," stated Ernie Giavedoni, Director of Operations for DNP. "Quality and customer satisfaction are the cornerstones for DNP's continued success. We believe that with Mr Bui's tremendous expertise in both quality and product technology/development, DNP will be able to maintain and exceed our current quality standards and quality systems."

Mr. Bui will lead DNP into its conversion from ISO 9002 to ISO:2000 - to be completed by 2003. In addition, he will focus on managing product and process-related engineering matters, product performance evaluations and customer satisfaction reports.
